THE GOSPEL IS…
The Good News of Jesus Christ
SO HERE’S THE SCOOP…
Everything we do as a people, and the reason we exist as a missions organization, is because of God’s gift of forgiveness through his son Jesus. More than anything else, we want you to know that there IS Good News! God loves you and He has a plan for your life!
Many spend their lives trying to earn God’s approval by following rules, attending religious services, or by being a good person; but the truth is that the only way to a fulfilling life and an eternal future in heaven with God is through having a loving & trusting relationship with Jesus Christ!
So what does that mean? A relationship with Jesus Christ?!
Here’s the plain & simple truth.
God loves you!
Because of God’s love for all people, He desires that you have unbroken fellowship with Him.
(John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4-5)
But, here’s the problem…
You are a sinner.
All of us are! So, what’s the problem? "Sinners" disobey God — that’s what we do — and the reason for all that’s wrong in the world is our sin. In other words, it’s our disobedience toward God that’s the problem.
Sin is just simply choosing to do our own thing & to go our own way rather than trusting & following God.
(Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10)
So, here’s the hard truth.
Sin separates you from God.
The reality is that sin forms an eternal barrier between you & God — a barrier that no man could ever get through — a barrier that no religion, system, or program could ever work through — thus, posing a problem that no man, woman, or child could ever solve. Do you see? It’s our sin that prevents us from entering into unbroken fellowship with God. But, The Problem is that that’s what we’re made for!…a loving & trusting relationship with our Creator. Do you see? Do you see the problem?
As a sinner, you’re not experiencing constant; unbroken fellowship with God and because of that you’re headed for a Christ-less, hopeless, Godless eternity that the Bible calls Hell.
(Isaiah 59:2; Romans 3:23)
So, there’s The Bad News & to make matters worse…
You can’t save yourself.
People often think that through their efforts they can overcome the sin barrier between them and God by being a good person. But, here’s the problem! You’re already a sinner — the damage has already been done & there’s nothing you can do about it. To put it another way, you can’t fix a broken relationship with God & make it perfect again. The damage has already been done & you can’t make things right again. BUT, God can.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:4-5)
So, here’s The Good News…
God sent His son Jesus to remove the sin barrier. So breathe…& get this.
What you could not do for yourself, Jesus has done for you! Your sin is a barrier between you and God BUT Jesus obliterated that barrier!
The Good News is that Jesus made a way back to God — he made a way to be in His presence again, He made a way for us to be in a loving & trusting relationship with Him again. Do you see?! That’s why we just need to simply put our faith in Jesus & what He has done for us! We are to just simply trust. Do you see it? Do you see what Jesus has done for you? Do you see His work of salvation? He has made a way for us to have peace with God! (Romans 5)
Now, that’s God News! Why?!
To put it clearly, He died on the cross for you so that you don’t have to die…and THEN He rose from the dead to demonstrate to us that His payment was acceptable to God The Father & to show that He has Power over sin & death! Do you see? He made a way for us to have a eternally life giving relationship with God again! Do you see your need to put your faith in Jesus?
(1 Peter 2:23; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 10:9)
So, here’s the thing…
You can receive what Jesus has done for you by faith, RIGHT NOW!
Faith in God begins with just trusting in what Jesus Christ has done for you. It’s FINISHED!!!!!!! There’s nothing you have to do to try to earn salvation or to try to please God…that’s what Jesus has done for you. JUST. TRUST. JESUS.
IT IS FINISHED 🙌🏼❤️ The work of salvation has been done. You just have to receive it.
DO YOU WANT TO RECEIVE SALVATION TROUGH JeSus TODAY?
(John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10)
Through prayer you can trust in WHAT Jesus HAS DONE FOR YOU TODAY!
Admit to God that you are a sinner. Express to Him your heartfelt sorrow for your sins. He hears you! Ask Him to forgive you for your sins—just talk to Him; He’s listening—& then tell Him that you accept what Jesus has done for you & experience the PEACE.
If you have truly accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord, He will now be all that you want and all that you’ll ever need. Mediate in that — mediate on what it means that He is now your Savior & Lord and consider what it means! You’re SAVED! You’re SAFE! You’re eternally secure & there’s nothing & no one that can change that! Praise JESUS 🙌🏼❤️
